Our annual Hollywood Summer Nights Classic Film Series continues with the beloved mermaid comedy SPLASH starring Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah! 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀: countytheater.org/specials

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: In this classic fish out of water romance, Daryl Hannah plays a young mermaid who returns to land to reunite with her childhood crush, a human (Tom Hanks) she saved from drowning 20 years prior. Despite language and cultural barriers, the two fall in love. This light and heartfelt comedy from director Ron Howards is a breezy good time and was the first film to be released under Disney’s Touchstone Pictures label. Also featuring Eugene Levy and John Candy.
